Here’s what I’m thankful for as we head into the Thanksgiving season.
In today’s Northwest Ohio real estate update, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude. There’s so much to be thankful for in 2023, and I’d like to share a brief list of what I’m grateful for.
1. First and foremost, I’m immensely thankful for the unwavering support of my incredible wife, Jean. Her love and dedication have been extraordinary. This year, she played a vital role in my recovery from total knee surgery, assisting me with daily walks, driving me around, and even taking the lead on a million-dollar listing while I was laid up. Her support is truly remarkable, and I’m deeply grateful for it.
“The trust and loyalty of my clients is truly incredible.”
2. I’m also grateful for my clients, whose names and faces may change, but their trust and loyalty remain constant. Many have turned to us repeatedly, which is both amazing and heartwarming. Their kindness and trust in our work and judgment mean the world to me.
3. Celebrating my 35th year in the real estate business this month, I’m thankful for my outstanding team. I’ve never had a more talented and dedicated group of friends and colleagues. Starting one of the first real estate teams in Toledo around 34 years ago, I’ve seen the value of teamwork in the industry, and my team members - Hannah, Jessica, Aaron, Rachel, Angie, Tyler, Dawn, Montana, and Annie - are exceptional. I couldn’t have achieved what I have without them, and I’m deeply appreciative.
4. I’m also grateful for the career I’ve chosen: real estate, both residential and commercial. Despite having attractive job offers in other fields after earning my MBA from Duke, I found immense satisfaction in the real estate industry. I get to work directly for my clients, a blessing I cherish. It’s been a fulfilling journey, and I feel truly blessed for the friends, clients, and opportunities it has brought into my life.
5. Lastly, I’m grateful for the chance to impact my community and make positive changes. Whether through my church, advocating for legislative changes, or working with clients, I’m thankful for the chance to serve and make a difference.
